Aria SFDC Features

Revenue Recognition Profile Added to Create/Edit Account Screens (SFDCDEV-133)

This feature enables you to specify the Revenue Recognition profile when creating or editing an account.

Getting Here: Click Accounts > New.

Enhanced Control Over Custom Rates and Discounts (SFDCDEV-134)

This feature enables Salesforce administrators to grant authority either to all users, or only to specific users, to enter custom rates or discounts on a plan.

Getting Here: Click the plus (+) sign > Other Configs.

The Enhanced Controls section of the screen allows you to specify whether all profiles or only specified profiles can enter custom rates and discounts.

  • Checking the All Profile box enables all profiles to use that control.
  • Unchecking the All Profile box disables all profiles except the ones you select from using that control. If the box is not checked, you can select one or more profiles that can use the control, as shown below.

Up to 100 Invoices with Line Items Can Be Synchronized Between Aria and Salesforce (SFDCDEV-146)

This feature has increased the number of invoices with line items that can by synchronized between Aria and Salesforce to 100.

Automatic Refund Calculation Added to Salesforce (SFDCDEV-150)

This feature enables you to specify automatic calculation of a refund, including taxes.

Getting Here: Click Accounts > Select an account > Aria Payments & Credits > Refunds > Create a New Refund > Select a payment ID.

Click the Auto Calculate Refund checkbox to have Salesforce calculate the refund amount.

Default Quantity for One-Time Product Purchase Is Now "1" Instead of "0" (SFDCDEV-156

 When adding a one-time product to an account, the default Unit quantity automatically changes  to "1" when an item is selected.

Getting Here: Click Accounts > Create or select an account > Add or select an opportunity > Add/Modify Plans.

When you scroll to the One Time Products section of the screen, you can check the box next to any products that you want to add to the plan.Upon checking the box, the Unit quantity changes from "0" to "1" and becomes editable. Unchecking the box changes the Unit quantity to "0" and makes it non-editable.
