Existing Opportunity Updated when Account's Plan Information Updated in Aria (SFDCDEV-46)
Previously, when an account's plan information was updated in Aria, the connector created a new opportunity in Salesforce with the plan details. Now, the connector checks if there are any open opportunities on the account and updates an open opportunity, rather than create a new opportunity when the connector syncs account and subscription plan updates from Aria into Salesforce.
When the connector is configured to check for and update an open opportunity, the following scenarios apply:
Note: An opportunity is considered "open" if it is not in a "Closed/Won" stage and does not have any account plans.
Implementing This Feature
The ability to check for and update an open opportunity instead of creating a new opportunity can be configured by following the steps below.
Getting Here: Click Aria General Configurations > Other Configs tab
The default option is Create New Opportunity.
The site-wide default behavior is configured for updating existing open opportunities.
New Aria User ID Criteria to Match Aria Accounts in Salesforce (SFDCDEV-47)
Previously, when a new account is synced from Aria to Salesforce, the connector creates a new account in Salesforce based on the Aria Account ID. Now, when a new account is created in Aria and synced to Salesforce, it can be matched by the Aria Client Account ID or the Aria User ID.
When an account is created in Aria and it syncs to Salesforce, the connector will look for an account with a matching Aria Account ID. If an account with a matching Account ID is found in Salesforce, then the connector will update the existing Salesforce account and will look no further.
If an account is not found with an incoming Aria Account ID, it will then search for an account with either an Aria Client Account Id or Aria User ID, if either of these values is set as the criteria for searching accounts in Salesforce. If an existing account with a matching Aria Client Account Id or Aria User Id is found, it will update the existing account. If an existing account with a matching Aria Client Account Id or Aria User Id is not found, it will create a new account.
Implementing This Feature
The ability to match Aria accounts in Salesforce based on the Aria User ID can be configured by following the steps below.
Getting Here: Click Aria General Configurations > Search Account tab
The default option is None.
Note: If this value is set to None, the connector searches for an existing account by the default option of Aria Account ID.
The selected value (User ID or Client Account ID) is configured as the site-wide default behavior for searching an account.
Ability to Void a Cash Credit from Salesforce (SFDCDEV-44)
Previously, cash credits could not be voided from Salesforce. Cash credits can now be voided, in addition to service credits, by clicking the Void link next to the applicable credit record (Accounts > select an account > Aria Payments and Credits > Credits tab).
Ability to View Bill Thru Date on Account (SFDCDEV-49)
Previously, an account’s "bill through date" was not exposed in Salesforce. Now, an Aria Last Bill Thru Date field displays on an account within Salesforce when an Aria account syncs to Salesforce.
