Add Terms and Conditions to Quote PDFs

Overview

Users can define Terms and Conditions for client plans to display in quote PDFs. A plan can have only one Terms and Conditions, but the same Terms and Conditions could be applied to more than one plan.

You can have Terms and Conditions display on a quote PDF by following the steps below:

  1. Adding Terms and Conditions within Salesforce
  2. Linking Terms and Conditions on a Client Plan
  3. Displaying Terms and Conditions on a Client Plan

Adding Terms and Conditions within Salesforce

  1. Log in to Salesforce.
  2. Click the Terms and Conditions tab.

Note: If the Terms and Conditions tab is not created for you by your system administrator, then it can be created on the Terms and Conditions custom object.

  1. Click the New button.

  1. Enter a name for the Terms and Conditions in the Terms & Conditions Name field.
  2. Enter the Terms and Conditions in the Description field.

  1. Click the Save button.

You can edit the name or description of a specific Terms and Conditions at any time by clicking the Edit button next to field, making all applicable changes, and clicking Save.

Linking Terms and Conditions on a Client Plan

  1. Click the Client Plans tab.
  2. Hover over the plan you want to link to.

A pop-up screen displays with the plan details.

  1. Click the View Plan Details button.

The Client Plans page displays.

  1. ClicktheEditbutton.
  2. Click the lookup icon next to the Terms and Conditions field to select the desired Terms and Conditions to link.

You can change which Terms and Conditions are linked to the client plan at any time by changing this field.

  1. Click Save.

Displaying Terms and Conditions on a Client Plan

  1. Add plans to a quote via the plan selection wizard by clicking on the Add/Modify button on the quote.

The Quote page will display.

  1. Click the Create Aria PDF button.

  1. View the Terms and Conditions for the selected plans in the quote PDF.
