Create a PDF of a Quote

Overview

You can create a PDF file of a quote, then email the PDF of the quote to a customer. You can also add plan-specific Terms and Conditions and associate them to Aria plans. When a quote PDF is generated, the Terms and Conditions for the plans in the quote are appended to the quote. If multiple plans have the same terms and conditions, they are not duplicated in the quote.

Note: Before you can email a quote, the recipients must exist in your Salesforce contacts. If you want to include your company logo in the PDF file, you must first complete the steps included under Add Your Company Logo to Quote PDFs.

Creating a PDF of a Quote

  1. Log in to Salesforce.
  2. Click Opportunities.
  3. Click on the opportunity containing the quote for which you want to create a PDF.
  4. Click Quotes.
  5. Click on the quote for which you want to create a PDF.

  1. Click Create Aria PDF.

The PDF file displays in a separate window as shown below.

  1. You can then do either of the following after scrolling down to the bottom of the window:
  • Click Save to Quote to save the PDF in the quote. This allows you have a snapshot of the quote for future reference. The PDF will be listed in the Quote PDFs section of the Quote screen.
  • Click Save and Email Quote to save the PDF in the quote and email it to the customer. The Send an Email screen appears. This provides you the ability to add recipients, compose a message, add other attachments, and email the PDF of the quote to a customer.

Note:  Before you can email a quote, the recipient(s) must exist in your Salesforce contacts.
