Providing a One-Time User ID and Password

Overview

If you receive an error when assigning a coupon with a credit template or a discount rule, it may be because the New Acct Auto Gen Pw Rule and Auto Gen Userid Rule miscellaneous client settings are set to False.

Because of these instances, Aria provides a one-time user ID and password to supplement for the information usually supplied to the API call through the New Acct Auto Gen Pw Rule and Auto Gen Userid Rule settings being set to True. When set to True, an API call collects the coupon effect when you click Assign.

You can provide this one-time user ID and password by following the steps below. You will only need to complete the below setup once for all coupons.

Providing a One-Time User ID and Password

Getting Here: Click All Tabs > Aria General Configurations > Other Configs tab

  1. Fill in the Aria Account User ID and Aria Account Password fields within the Other Configurations screen exactly as they are shown below (Aria Account User ID: sdsdfgdsg | Aria Account Password: 2341233333).

Note: The following has been provided by Aria as a one-time user ID and password for instances where the New Acct Auto Gen Pw Rule and Auto Gen Userid Rule miscellaneous client settings are set to False, to supplement for the information usually supplied to the API call from this setting.
