Configure Notifications through Aria Provisioning Email

Overview

To retrieve account information from Aria via email notifications, you must set up your Aria provisioning email service in Salesforce, then use Admintools to subscribe to all of the events in the Account Based class, as described below.

Configuring Your Aria Provisioning Email Service

  1. Click Setup.
  2. Click Develop.
  3. Click Email Services.

  1. Click New Email Service.

You can disregard this message at the top of the screen: “Before creating email services, create Apex classes that implement the Messaging.InboundEmailHandler interface."

  1. Type "Aria Provisioning Message Handler" in the Email Service Name box.
  2. Click on the search button to lookup the Apex Class.

  1. Click AriaEmailServiceHandler.
  2. Enter"ariasystems.net" in the Accept Email From box.
  3. Select the Active checkbox.
  4. Leave the default selections for all of the other options unchanged.
  5. Click Save and New Email Address.

The following fields automatically populate:

  • Email address
  • Active
  • Context User
  1. Remove your email address from the Accept Email From box if it is populated.
  2. Click Save.

Your email service information displays with your new provisioning email address, as shown below.

  1. Log in to Admintools to subscribe to all of the events in the Account Based class and use your provisioning email address from Salesforce as the destination.
