A new <invoice_approval_required> output parameter has been added to the get_acct_details_all API. If the <invoice_approval_required> parameter is returned as “1,” then the invoices for that account need approval and those pending invoices are listed in the Pending Invoices screen in the Aria6 UI.

The following updates have been made to the below APIs to void invoices and discard usage.

void_transaction API

A new <discard_invoice_usage> input parameter has been added to the void_transaction API to optionally discard all the usage associated with an invoice. This parameter defaults to False. When set to True, associated usage is only discarded if the transaction being voided is an invoice.

The void_transaction API has also been enhanced to void all usage records associated with an invoice being voided.

manage_pending_invoice API

The manage_pending_invoice API has been enhanced with a new "Discard Pending Invoice and Discard Usages" input in the <action_directive> parameter. When the "Discard Pending Invoice and Discard Usages" option is selected, all usage associated with the pending invoice is discarded.

<retrieve_excluded_usage> parameter

The following APIs have been enhanced to include a new <retrieve_excluded_usage> parameter:

• get_usage_history
• get_unbilled_usage_summary
• get_usage_summary_by_type

This new parameter defaults to True and permits the inclusion of usage records that have been permanently excluded from billing.
