Test the Aria PCI JavaScript Tag

This article applies to:Aria Crescendo

Overview

Implementing the Aria PCI JavaScript tag (ariaCHD.js) does not guarantee that it is performing as intended. For instance, if the tag is inserted after page load using another JavaScript file, then the functionality may not work correctly. This is especially true if the form is not available, or if you are using an outdated browser version.

Testing the Aria PCI JavaScript Tag

Perform the following steps to validate your implementation of the Aria PCI JavaScript tag:

  1. Update the form action and method so that it is empty.
  2. Load the page.
  3. Inspect the form action and method.

If JavaScript is correcting the form action and/or method, then the Aria PCI JavaScript tag is working as intended. If JavaScript is not correcting the form action, ensure that the tag is implemented properly.
