Configure Plan Level Coupons/Promotions

You can configure a plan level coupon/promotion on the Plan Configure modal.  When you click the Validate button and if validation is unsuccessful, then the display message “Coupon is Invalid” or ”Coupon Expired” messages appear below the input field.

When configuring a plan level coupon/promotion on the plan Configure modal and clicking the Validate button and validation is successful, the coupon information is displayed in tabular form.

When you want to configure plan level coupon/promotion on the plan Configure modal, they are presented with a confirmation box in the All Plans screen when clicking the button to remove a plan (a message appears that removing a plan will also remove any “child” plans associated with it).

You can configure plan level coupon/promotion on the plan Configure modal under Opportunity > Manage Plans > Plans (select a plan) > Actions > Configure (when an account plan is added to an opportunity, a table of existing coupons is displayed if the account plan already has existing coupons on the account).

You can configure plan supplemental fields on the plan Configure modal, including coupon-related information (client can mark coupon as cancelled if coupon is Active or delete coupon if coupon appears under Opportunity > Manage Plans > Plans (select a plan) > Actions > Configure.

Set Up Plan/Account Billing Responsibility

Use the Plan Configure modal to configure plan responsibility. If the parent account is not yet saved to Aria, the Parent Account lookup with the Parent Name is populated. By default, Billing Responsibility is set as ‘Standard Self-Pay’ or populated with the saved selection.  The Parent Plan Name dropdown is shown only if any one of the two options of parent pay are selected in the Billing Responsibility drop-down list. You need to specify which parent plan name.

You can select the parent billing responsibility during plan configuration.

You can select an account for billing responsibility from a radio button at the Parent Account Modal (from the Parent Account field on the Configure modal and click Save; the selected account is then updated as the Parent Account on the Configure modal.

When the Parent Account lookup is updated by the Account Modal, the Billing Responsibility drop-down list is displayed. By default, Billing Responsibility is set as Standard Self-Pay. To be consistent with the Aria Core UI, other options are: Parent Pay with Child Usage Rules and Parent Pay with Parent Usage Rules.

Edit Rollover Rate Enhancements

When clicking the blue assign plans link at the Add/Edit a Termed Agreement screen, the Edit Rollover Plan and Edit Rollover Rate dialogs are pre-populated with any existing plan(s) or rate schedule(s) so when selecting the Rollover to a plan and/or rate schedule End Action, the existing plans and rate schedules are displayed.

Selecting the Edit Rollover Rate action from the drop-down list for a plan name at the Add a Termed Agreement screen displays the Edit Rollover Rate dialog.

The rate schedule for the existing plan is highlighted (radio button selected) at the Edit Rollover Rate dialog. You can accept the default or select another rate schedule.

Scroll through a list of paginated custom rate schedules for the rollover plan at the Edit Rollover Rate dialog.

The Edit Rollover Rate dialog contains the following columns (with the Change Rate Schedule button):

  • Service

The Service and Type columns have been added to the Edit Rollover Rate dialog, displaying the custom rates of the selected rate schedule.

When adding a custom rate to a rollover plans, the Net Price and Total Net columns of the Edit Rollover Rate dialog are automatically recalculated to reflect the new rate.

Click the + or – icons to add or remove custom rates to the Custom Rate Schedule at the Edit Rollover Rate dialog.

When selecting Edit Rollover Rate from the Add a Termed Agreement screen and entering a custom rate, you are returned to the Edit Rollover Rate dialog after saving the custom rate.

When editing a custom rollover rate, the To field at the Custom Rate Schedule section is blank for a rate not edited at the Edit Rollover Rate screen.

Rollover to a plan or a rate schedule by enabling this selection at the field next to End Action on the Add a Term of Agreement screen (search for plans and rates from the Edit Rollover Plan and Edit Rollover Rate modals respectively).

Note: To Rollover to another plan, that plan must already be assigned to this opportunity.

Click the Commit button and the rollover plan and/or rollover rate schedule is assigned to the plan on the contract.

Edit Rollover Plan Enhancements

When rolling over from an existing plan to a new plan within Salesforce Lightning, you can select the rate schedule for the new plan. If no new rate schedule applies, the default rate schedule will be used. You can also roll over to a new rate schedule in the existing plan. In addition, when rolling over from an existing plan to a new plan and the new plan has a different billing cycle (including proration), the billing cycle will be updated in accordance with the new plan.

Select the Edit rollover plan action from an existing MPI on the contract at the Add/Edit a Termed Agreement dialog. A list of available MPIs for this opportunity appears at the Edit Rollover Plan dialog for user selection.

When rolling over from a Master Plan Instance (MPI) with a Supplemental Plan Instance (SPI), the new MPI must have an SPI assigned to it, or clicking Add will generate a validation error.

When Rollover to a plan and/or a rate schedule is selected from the drop-down list under the End Action label, the Rollover Plan and Rollover Rate columns appear in the grid below listing the plans available for rollover.

Add/Edit a Termed Agreement

Rollover Plans and/or Rate Schedule columns have been added on the Terms of Agreement tab under Account Plans.

When adding a new contract and selecting rollover to a plan or/and a rate schedule as the end action and assigning plans to the contract, the table shown on Add a Termed Agreement screen displays the following additional columns in the Plans section:

  • Rollover Plan
  • Rollover Rate

Also, the Action column displays a drop-down list with the options Edit rollover plan and Edit rollover rate besides the currently supported Edit and Remove selections.

Select the Edit rollover plan action from an existing SPI on the contract at the Add/Edit a Termed Agreement dialog. The list of available SPIs at the Edit Rollover Plan dialog depend on whether the MPI will rollover to a new MPI or not. If the MPI will rollover to a new MPI, then any available SPI to rollover to will be included in the list of SPIs under the new MPI.

After assigning a rollover plan or rate schedule to a contract, press Save on the Add a Termed Agreement screen to commit that contract to an opportunity.

Configure Modal Selections

If a plan has supplemental fields, they will be displayed on the Configure modal.

Dynamic Account Search

You can type an alphanumeric and click <ENTER> for a dynamic account search at the Account Name field (similar to search in Add Plans from Product Catalog modal).

New Plan Status Tooltip

At the Plan Start and Billing Options dialog, a tooltip at the What status are new plans until the start date input field states as follows: “Status of the master plan instance prior to plan start date. Not applicable to supplemental plan instance”.

Aria for Salesforce Fixes

  • The Alternate Plan Start Date now appears at the Plan Start and Billing Options dialog in Salesforce Classic with the same functionality when updating an existing plan as that found in Salesforce Lightning. (SFDC-973)
  • At the Plan Start and Billing Options dialog, the Alternate Plan Start Date is cleared when making a new selection at the When Plan Changes Take Effect drop-down list. (SFDC-976)
  • Changes to custom rates are now committed successfully to Salesforce Lightning. (SFDC-1056)
  • Billing group changes are now saved in both Salesforce Lightning and Classic with no issues, including updating the payment type. (SDC-1057)
