The Bypass Automatic Opportunity setting prevents automatic opportunity creation at the time account plan changes sync to Salesforce. Use this setting if you want to sync only account details and do not want to sync account plans, coupons, contracts and orders.
The following examples are instances when automatic opportunity creation normally occurs. This setting prevents automatic opportunity creation in these situations.
- Real time sync from Aria to Salesforce due to Aria event notifications. Any time plan changes are made in Aria, the changes sync to Salesforce and create a new opportunity.
- The Refresh from Aria button may create new opportunities to sync new plan changes done in Aria.
- The Schedule job "AriaBatchAccountPlansUpdaterScheduler" may create a new opportunity to sync new plan changes done in aria.
