Define Plan Hierarchy Field Set

Overview

Field Sets are groups of fields that are combined into a single entity. Field sets must be enabled for your organization to use this capability. This field set is used on Plan Hierarchy table of the Account, Quote, and Opportunity screens. Use this field set to configure the columns of the Plan Hierarchy table (shown below).

Editing the Field Set

You can edit the field set by using the following steps:

  1. Click your user name in the upper-right portion of the screen.
  2. Click Setup > Create > Objects > Account Plan. The Account Plan (Managed) screen displays

  1.  Click Field Sets > Edit. The Aria Account Plan Hierarchy displays

The fields in the In the Field Set section correspond to the column headings in the Plan Hierarchy.

  1. To remove a column from the Plan Hierarchy, highlight it in the In the Field Set section and then click the "-" to delete it. In the following example, ACV has been deleted from the In the Field Set section. Note that it is still available in the list of fields above, if you later want to add it.

  1. Click Save. The change is reflected in the Plan Hierarchy table.

  1. Change the order of the column headings by dragging the column names to their new position in the In the Field Set section. In the example below, Billing Group has been moved before Units.

  1. Click Save. The change is reflected in the Plan Hierarchy table.

  1. To add a column heading, drag it from the list of fields to the In the Field Set section and click Save. The change is reflected in the Plan Hierarchy table.
