Email a PDF of a Quote

Overview

After you have created a PDF of a quote, you can email the quote to a customer.

Note:  Before you can email a quote, the recipients must exist in your Salesforce contacts.

Emailing a PDF of a Quote

Getting Here: Click Opportunities > select an opportunities > Quotes

  1. Click on the quote that you want to email.

  1. Click Email Quote.

Note: This will allow you to email the most recent PDF version of a quote that you saved. If you created multiple PDF versions of a quote and you want to email an older version, click Email next to the desired PDF in the Quote PDFs section of the screen.

  1. You can then complete the steps below to email the quote.

Note:  Before you can email a quote, the recipients must exist in your Salesforce contacts. Required fields are marked with red.

  • Click the Search button to select each email recipient from your Salesforce contacts.
  • Type in a Subject.
  • Compose a message in the Body.
  • Add other attachments by clicking Attach File. The PDF of the quote and any additional files that you attached will be displayed in the Attachments section.
  • Click Send.

The PDF of the quote is sent to your specified recipients.

If you created multiple PDF versions of a quote and you want to email an older version, click Email next to the desired PDF in the Quote PDFs section of the screen.
