gen_random_string_m
gen_random_string_m
Generates a random string of letters and/or numbers.

Input Arguments

client_no | long | 22 | Aria-assigned unique identifier indicating the Aria client providing service to this account. | ||||||||

auth_key | string | 32 | Aria-assigned unique key to be passed with each method call for authenticating the validity of the requestor. | ||||||||
| rand_type | string | 1 | Identifies what type of characters are returned in the random string. "A" = letters only. "N" = numbers only. "M" = mixed/alphanumeric (default).

| rand_length | long | 2 | Identifies how many characters should be in the random string. "6" characters are the default length. This field only accets numbers between 1 and 99. | |||||||||
| rand_case | string | 1 | Identifies the case of the letters returned in the random string. "U" = upper. "L" = lower. "M" = mixed (default).

Output Arguments

| error_code | long | Aria-assigned error identifier. 0 indicates no error. |
| error_msg | string | Description of any error that occurred. "OK" if there was no error. |
| random_string | string | Random string generated by the API method. |
