You can create collection groups (also referred to as "collection account groups") to specify that financial transactions conducted with specific groups of accounts are completed with a specific payment gateway or combination of payment gateways and merchant accounts.
If you created a collection group for a specific payment gateway, be sure to add all applicable accounts to that collection group during the account registration process or soon afterward. This ensures that collections for accounts in that collection group are completed successfully.

Overview
Note: When you have multiple payment gateways and collection groups, if you do not add a specific account to a collection group, then Aria completes transactions for that account using the payment gateway with the lowest processor ID number (assigned by Aria). You also cannot assign a customer to collection groups associated with different payment gateways that accept the same payment method.
Collection Group Scenarios
The table below summarizes different scenarios in which you would create collection groups and the steps needed to conduct financial transactions with customers in each scenario:
